L.A. native Miguel plays the El Rey Theatre on Tuesday, September 4. The self-proclaimed ‘eclectric’ artist weaves a smooth, urban style that blends electro, hip-hop, and soul and he cites everyone from James Brown to David Bowie as influences. Miguel teases listeners with his 3-song EP Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview (avail now) and his second preview EP, Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview (avail September 11) but the full length album Kaleidoscope Dream doesn’t drop until early October.
