Have you been missing some Spoon in your life? We have and just as we were wondering what the hell happened to them, we got received word of Brit Daniel’s new “supergroup,” Divine Fits. The first time we heard their song, “Would That Not be Nice,” we automatically thought — SPOON! However, “It’s a Thing Called Divine Fits.” Comprised of Spoon’s Britt Daniel, Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and Handsome Furs, and New Bomb Turks’ Sam Brown, with Alex Fischel helping out on keyboards — Divine Fits just played a very intimate show at the Hotel Cafe and we were there to catch all the divine action. Supporting Divine were L.A.’s Lord Huron!
