Malaysian singer/songwriter extraordinaire Zee Avi headlines the Echo’s Church Sessions at First Unitarian Church Los Angeles on Friday, September 21. Her chilled out, jazzy style is anything but a snooze and both her self-titled debut and sophomore album, 2011’s Ghostbird (Brushfire Records/Monotone), have been making musical waves. Be sure to catch this lovely songstress up close and personal, with special musical guests Henry Wolfe and Joey Dosik, in the cozy, intimate setting of First Unitarian Church Los Angeles.
