Contest: Win Tickets to Los Campesinos! w/ Lovely Bad Things at the El Rey – Thursday, Oct. 18 2012

See the seven piece indie pop band Los Campesinos! play at the El Rey on Thursday, October 18. Los Campesinos formed in 2006 in Cardiff, Wales and have four albums that have brought indie rock to the hearts of many people. Their music is lively and joyous, often characterizing them as “twee pop”, similar to early twee bands such as Beat Happening and The Modern Lovers. The band is heavily influenced by Pavement, Modest Mouse, Blur, and The Smiths, just to name a few. They deliver a great performance that will put anyone in good spirits. Joining them are two Los Angeles bands that have gain rapid recognition, the Lovely Bad Things and Moses Campbell. Don’t miss out on the great line-up and a night of sweet, sweet dancing.
