Congo super group, Staff Benda Bilili, play the El Rey Theatre on Wednesday, October 24. SBB were formed by paraplegic street musicians who used to practice in an abandoned zoo but now they are global music movers and shakers. The band are on tour now in support of their newest album release, 2012’s Bouger le Monde! (Crammed Discs) which means “make the world shake” – and the El Rey dance floor will be erupting with movement! Wax progressive dance floor master DJ Glenn Red supports.
