The Woggles transported fans at the Satellite last Friday to a time where 60s garage rock ran deep with hip-shakin’ soul; go-go dancers and all! They threw down some solid groves while show-goers cut loose on the dance floor. These guys put on one hell of a show with their tunes from yesteryear — when rock ‘n’ roll was something frowned upon by squares. Dressed from head-to-toe in in retro threads inspired by the 60s and 70s, the Woggles strengthened their nostalgic tone by adding a couple voluptuous go-go dancers to their stage. It made their performance all the more appealing to the eye.
Supporting the Woggles were L.A.’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. We really enjoyed watching their drummer, she’s a babe and she rips. Altogether, Kiss Kiss were a fun appetizer to the Woggles main dish.
