Grimy Goods is headed to Orange Cunty! Whoops — we mean “Orange County.” We’ll be at the Slidebar on Thursday, Nov. 29 for a dope show that we just happen to be presenting — and it’s FREE. Los Angeles’, DāM-FunK will be headlining the evening delivering that smooth electro-boogie and signature soul-funk flavor of his. As part of the heavy-hitting Stones Throw family, DāM-FunK spent the last few years cultivating a musical renaissance rooted in the early-’80s styles known as Boogie, Modern Soul and Electro-Funk — and it’s super fly. Also making their way from L.A. are Nite Jewel. Come dance away to the sweet alt-electro musings of the sultry Nite Jewel (aka Ramona Gonzalez).
