Win Tickets to Shuggie Otis at the Echoplex – Dec. 5, 2012

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Shuggie Otis rocks the Echoplex on Wednesday, December 5.  Shuggie Otis, son of R&B bandleader Johnny Otis, is a household name when it comes to the ‘60’s and ‘70’s blues-rock, funk and soul worlds.  His revamped releases of his ’74 classic Inspiration Information and Wings of Love, a collection of tracks recorded between 1975-2000 are set to be released in April 2013 on Epic/Legacy Recordings.  Soul-grooving, funk-crushing supporting act is DaM-Funk!

Tickets are $23-25, doors open at 8 PM, and this event is 18+. Enter the contest below for a chance to win a pair of tickets, courtesy of our friends at The Echoplex.

    We listened to Shuggie Otis so much when I was pregnant with our only child that we nicknamed her Shuggie. 🙂 You can see Shuggie in our YouTube channel (username ask123321) — we have a really sweet video called “If you remember you’re dreaming you can fly” set to “Shuggie’s Freedom Flight.” Its one of my favorites. God bless the original Shuggie! Whether we get to go to his show or not, I hope he has a great time. xo
