Headlining a SOLD OUT show, Unknown Mortal Orchestra proves to be one of the greater indie bands to come out. Their debut track “Ffunny Ffrends” was discovered through their Bandcamp and gained instant recognition in the blogosphere and out to mainstream culture. Pitchfork quickly gave their self-titled album an 8 and describes their sound as “rare for a lo-fi record, UMO manages a unique immersive and psychedelic quality without relying on the usual array of bong-ripping effects”. They have successfully done a world tour and are finishing it up in North America making one of their spots the Echoplex with the support of Foxygen, Gothic Tropic, and Wampire .
