Regarded as icons in the world of experimental music, The Residents, celebrate 40 years with “The Wonder of Weird” tour at the El Rey on Monday, February 25. Their groundbreaking work in trance, world fusion, electronica, punk, industrial, and lounge music never fail to keep their audience guessing. They have gained a steady audience in both mainstream and cult cultures and constantly try to challenge and reinvent themselves. Their performance and music videos have also made in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art, which features the “Looking at Music 3.0” exhibit. The Residents thrive in the world of digital media and recently completed a 70 date world tour. Join us in celebrating four decades of mind-blowing performances with The Residents.

We’ll select a winner that has done all of the above mentioned. Winners will be announced via email, Facebook and Twitter on Thursday Feb. 21. Winners will have until 10am Friday, Feb. 22 to reply back to our email and confirm their win.
