Formed in the late and great 1970s, the Specials are bringing their English 2 Tone ska revival to Club Nokia on Monday, March 18 and Grimy Goods has tickets to give away courtesy of our friends at Goldenvoice! With their mod-style 1960s period rude boy outfits, the Specials music combines a “danceable ska and rocksteady beat with punk’s energy and attitude, and had a more focused and informed political and social stance than other ska groups.

Next, email ggcontests@gmail.com with your full name for guest list and a clever reason why you want a pair of tickets to the Special at at Club Nokia. When you’re done with your email, send us a Tweet so we know you entered the contest or you can post on our Facebook wall. We’ll select a winner that has done all of the above mentioned. Winners will be announced via email, Facebook and Twitter on Thursday, March 14. Winners will have until 10am Friday, March 15 to reply back to our email and confirm their win.
