Experimental, psychedelic rock band, Akron/Family will be hitting The Echo on Wednesday, May 8. The band consists of Dana Janssen, Seth Olinksky, and Miles Seaton who create beautiful, trippy, synchronized music. When they first began making music, they were performing with another band, however, Akron/Family has no need of this anymore, these guys are able to poke at your senses with a song like “Don’t Be Afraid, You’re Already Dead”, which makes you want to sway with the person next to you. Akron/Family recently released their sixth album, Sub Verses, this week, so catch them to hear some new tracks. Supporting the band will be Avi Buffalo,  M Geddes Gengras, and DJ Trevor Baade (Jacknife Records & Tapes).
