Shout Out Louds_05-20-10_057

Formed in Stockholm, Shout Out Louds found an international audience during the early 2000s with their peppy Swedish pop. The five-piece band started writing music in no time, the first three songs formed the basis of their first demo tape. Their music caught the attention of Sweden’s Bud Fox Recordings and quickly got signed. By 2003 they finally released their debut album 100°. Shout Out Louds had high energy and melodic sound from the beginning, which entailed tours and more releases, eventually landing a deal with Capitol Records. In the U.S they immediately gained popularity by touring the The Dears and having airplay on The OC. After releasing Our Ill Wills and Work, the band decided to recapture their relaxed spirit of earlier records and reconvene to create something refreshing. This year they produced their own record entitled, Optica, which captures their original free-spirit and high-energy, ultra-melodic tunes.
