The annual psychobilly/rockabilly music festival, Hootenanny has yet another great lineup of bands and artists featuring Social Distortion, Face to Face, Old ’97s, Murder By Death, Nashville Pussy, Phil Alvin & Exene Cervenka, Wheeler Brothers, Roger Alan Wade, Lindi Ortega, Bloodshot Bill, Gamblers Mark, The 454s, Custom Made Scare, Vinnie & the Hooligans, Not In The Face, Red Devil Squadron, and Seven Year War. For the third year now, the festival holds a Miss Hootenanny contest (for those lovely ladies interested), and features an awesome vintage car show. The Hootenanny will take place on the lush Oak Canyon Ranch in Irvine on Saturday, July 6. Come out to enjoy some great bands and see clusters of ladies in pin-up dresses wearing bright red lipstick, along with hunks in white v-neck shirts and slicked back hair.
