The fourth annual festival, The Power of the Riff, is set to start on Friday, August 9 at The Echo with a pre-party and bound to continue all through the weekend. Made possible by Greg Anderson and Sam James Velde, the metalhead, harcore punk festival features 26 bands, such as the headliners, The Obsessed. Get ready for some serious shred! Win tickets to one of the Power of the Riff show dates below or a weekend pass! You pick! We’ll give away a pair of tickets to each show, and two weekend passes.

Aug. 9 – Black Breath, Early Graves, Obliterations
Aug. 10 – The Obsessed, Hirax, From Ashes Rise, Final Conflict

CONTEST DETAILS:
First make sure you’re following Grimy Goods on Twitter here and/or “like” our Facebook page here. Next, email ggcontests@gmail.com with your full name for guest list and a clever reason why you want a pair of tickets to The Power of the Riff at the Echo! Be sure to let us know which show you want to attend or if you want weekend passes. When you’re done with your email, send us a Tweet so we know you entered the contest or you can post on our Facebook wall. We’ll select winners that have done all of the above mentioned. Winners will be announced via email, Facebook and Twitter on Tuesday, August 6.  Winners will have until 10 AM Wednesday, August 7 to reply back to our email and confirm their win.
