My favorite song of all time is leaf by asap rocky produced by none other then claims casino! Ive heard it once live which gave me a whole new insight on the song & lyrics. Rcoky raps a lot about fashion & money but in this song he raps about the struggle & his background its always been my favorite .
One of my fav. Songs of all time would be step in to a world by Krs-1. Not only does this song proves how much of a lyrical poet krs-1 is but it also has a special meanng to me personally. This song is the song my girlfriend and I had our first kiss to. Step in to a world will forever be my fav. Song of all time. Favorite hip hop song of all time is Fu-Gee-La CAMP REMIX but Fugees. They all murdered it on the bars, and just as smooth of a joint as it was it still goes hard. The epitome of good soulful, HIP HOP CULTURE. True lyricists, and the verses speak for themselves. The song is self explanatory, a track of legends.
My favorite rap/hip hop song would be Dear Mama by Tupac its my favorite because growing up with a single mother I appreciate all her hard work for me and I was able to relate to Tupac and and that his music was real.

Favorite Hip-Hop song of all time has to be Notorious B.I.G.’s “Sky’s the limit”. Greatest lyricist of all-time had such great flow, delivery and rhymes that I never get tired of the song. 112 singing the hook is a plus too. I also like the fact that even though the big man came from slums, this song has a positive feel and gives off a great vibe. The positivity, optimism and expression of wanting to improve your way of life definitely make it my favorite.

My favorite hip hop song would def have to be Jay Z and Eminem Renegade. It’s the bringing together of two lyrical geniuses and they both kill it in their own regard. We often times see Slim Shady, but when Eminem actually comes out to flow it’s a beautiful thing; and course we all respect HOV, so the two of them together def. makes this song top for me.

kind of a big question, i guess off my head id say my favorite hip hop song of all time is discipline by gang starr because its a good message!
My favorite song is pineal gland by Ab-Soul, so different than what other rappers rap about. He raps about opening your third eye and not letting society brain wash you, and just learning from experience and not being afraid to be yourself, no matter who that may be.
Chief Rocka- Lord of the Underground. Brings me back home to the glory days of playing ball in highschool. Pregame ritual for everything I do now, whether its about to party with my friends or getting ready for an interview. I live for this song.
I have so many favorites but one song that will never get old to me is “blunt after blunt” by Danny Brown. when i saw him perform it live it was probably one of the best moments of his performance ! i would love to see him again at rock the bellls!

My favorite hip hop song is “Dom Kennedy – We Ball Feat. Kendrick Lamar” because anything Dom Kennedy is amazing his sound is so unique and different. Raps about LA and the heart of LA, and to have Kendrick Lamar featured just was a perfect combination. Dom Kennedy and Kendrick Lamar are so inspirational and to see them live again at the same festival would be amazing.

That’s my favorite song because it’s one of the most honest and real songs out there. The lyrics just really saying honest things and they make people feel good about themselves. Tells you that fame doesn’t mean perfection.
Favorite hip hop song of all time is definitely Everything by Murs because of how relatable the story is to me, and how the messages helped save my life. “Times you want to end it all yourself don’t do it. Be original, be different, be the one to stand up and shock this system.” That quote helped me more than any other thing could. Murs is by far one of my favorite artists, and is a true role model to me, and that song has always been my favorite.

My favorite hip-hop song of all time is definitely Find A Way by A Tribe Called Quest. Not just because i can recite every verse by heart or even because i still think Q-Tip is a handsome devil in the music video. I remember being a kid and my older brother playing this track by ATCQ during those long Summer nights. My love for it carried into adulthood and now when i hear it i reminisce on my childhood and being one of the only kids who wasn’t just singing along to Brandy or Usher, instead, i was reciting every note by Phife and Q-Tip.

Making me pick 1 hiphop song? Thats evil, but if I have to choose I’ll probably say “Da Mystery of Chessboxin” by Wu-Tang. The first time I heard it was on “The Box” television station and i was like 10-11, it totally blew my mind, by the time I got the album and realized that all the sword slashing sounds were just bleeped out curse words i was sold. Its so deep and raw with unique styles and intelligent lyricism, there was just nothing else like it around. So much contrast between what they were doing and the west coast rap that was flooding the airwaves. That launched 20 years of love for hiphop, so everything else has to come second.

Nas’ “The World is Yours” off of his debut album Illmatic is my favorite hip hop song of all time because it’s inspirational, vivid, and most of all symbolic of the core lyrical elements that have given hip hop a voice that both the streets and mainstream culture can genuinely appreciate. To many hip hop purists and artists alike, Illmatic set the precedent for hip hop artists, and “The World is Yours” was one of the standout singles from the album. A prime example of Nas’ lyrical dexterity was the first line of the first verse as he flows “I sip the Dom P, watching “Gandhi” ’til I’m charged, Then writing in my book of rhymes, all the words past the margin”, which essentially describes a young writer searching for an influence by watching Gandhi fight for justice. However, mildly intoxicated from the “Dom P” all the words pass the margin. This masterful storytelling in the form of rhyming is what’s made Nas an iconic hip hop figure and that one line in “The World is Yours” is a reflection of him as an artist. The smooth, jazzy production courtesy of hip hop legend Pete Rock gives the record a reminiscent, ‘golden age’ feel, and Nas’ inspirational repetition of “The world is yours” during the chorus will give listeners motivation to achieve any goals, dreams, or aspirations they may have. It’s a five minute masterpiece written by a young, passionate artist who transcended an entire genre.

Best hip hop song of all time in my opinion has go to be Renegade – Jay Z Eminemm. Both of them killl it on this song. They talk about both different meanings of the word. Even though Jay and Em have two different flows on this track there’s no denying that both of them are two of the greatest rappers of all time. They found a way to m esh their talent in aon a track that never gets old.
