They’re baaaaaaack! The Breeders headlined a sold-out show at the El Rey Theatre last night in preparation for their spot today at FYF! Last night’s reunited line-up featured the ever-so-amazing (and badass) Kim Deal, along with Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson, and Josephine Wiggs. In celebration of their 20th anniversary reissue, Last Splash, the Breeders played the entire 90s gem from start-to-finish. From the tropical shoegaze vibes of “No Aloha” to the crowd sing-along from their radio hit, “Cannon Ball” — the Breeders had fans happily snug in a 90s bubble of nostalgia.
DO NOT miss the Breeders today at FYF Fest! They hit the Carrie Stage at 6:30pm!
