There’s been a lot of Arcade Fire buzz of the late, with a trailer of their forthcoming album, as well as alleged cover art — now you get something with a lot of Arcade Fire substance. No teazers! Check out the official video for “Reflektor” by Arcade Fire. It’s basically an interactive short film (yep, once again, more interactive vids from Arcade Fire). Using your mouse, tablet, or mobile device, you can control the effects used in the video and you essentially become the “reflektor.” Click here to become a part of the experience or if the interactive video crashes your computer, you can instead watch it below!
The new video for “Reflektor” was written, directed, and produced by longtime Arcade Fire collaborator Vincent Morisset and filmed in Jacmel, Haiti. According to the video’s site, “the story follows a young woman who travels between her world and our own.”
Arcade Fire’s new album Reflektor is out October 29 via Merge.
