The Santa Monica Pier will turn into a beach side dance party filled with old school artists and young upstarts. Day two of The Beach Ball Festival will feature legendary reggae artists such as Michael Rose (of Black Uhuru), Sly and Robbie, The Skatalites, and many others. Make your way to a legendary evening full of funk, soul, reggae, and grooving.

Tickets are $30, doors open at 3PM, and the event is all-ages and kids 10 and under are free! The only area that is 21+ is the bar area and VIP. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Echo and Grimy Goods.

Next, email ggcontests@gmail.com with your full name for guest list and a clever reason why you want a pair of tickets to the Beach Ball Festival at the Santa Monica Pier. When you’re done with your email, send us a Tweet so we know you entered the contest or you can post on our Facebook wall. We’ll select a winner that has done all of the above mentioned. Winners will be announced via email, Facebook and Twitter on Wednesday, September 18. Winners will have until 10am Thursday, September 19 to reply back to our email and confirm their win.
