J. Roddy Walston & The Business headline the Troubadour on Friday, October 11. Is it possible for a band to teach you about embracing humanity? J. Roddy Walston does. Their latest album, Essential Tremors borrows its name from a nervous-system disorder that’s affected the band’s frontman. Their music can get you dancing with its mixture of Southern roots and punk, but also deliver an intimate message to listeners about embracing one’s weirdness and human condition. Supporting them is Gringo Star and The Diamond Light.

Tickets are $12 – $14, doors open at 8PM, and the event is all ages. You can win a pair of tickets with us, courtesy of the Troubadour and Grimy Goods.
