Among those who create surf inspired music, Wavves is one of the few who wear the throne. Nathan Williams (guitars) and Stephen Pope (bass) mix grunge, surf rock, and a bit of pop to cause heads to bob accordingly. Their fourth album titled Afraid Of Heights, was released earlier this year in March with which they also released music videos for “That’s On Me” and “Afraid Of Heights“. We caught them performing with FIDLAR and even made a flag warning in our Just Announced post revealing their headlining show at The Echoplex on Tuesday, October 15. Usually, you would be able to easily catch them, but guess what? The show is SOLD OUT. But don’t worry, Grimy Goods has got you. Supporting acts will include King Tuff and Jacuzzi Boys.
As mentioned, the show is SOLD OUT, but very few tickets are available at the door. Tickets are $20 – $22, doors open at 7 PM, and the event is all ages. You can take a chance at winning a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Echo and Grimy Goods!
