It’s hard to top the greatness that was last year’s LACMA Halloween Costume Ball with the exclusive Stanley Kubrick exhibit, but LACMA had stunned us again. This Halloween weekend on Saturday, Oct. 26 LACMA delivers yet another fascinating halloween costume ball not to miss. Titled the LACMA Muse Halloween Costume Ball, the 10th annual celebration will be haunted by the ghosts of old Hollywoodland. The evening’s entertainment includes Clairy Browne and the Bangin’ Rackettes, a DJ set by Theophilus London and Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group haunting the after-party. Every year LACMA hosts an awesome costume contest and attendees go all out to show-off their creative attire. It’s truly one of the best events in Los Angeles to see some jaw-dropping Halloween costumes. This year’s costume categories are as followed: Best Black-and-White Costume, Best Classic Movie Monster, and Best Ghost of Hollywood Past. Think you got what it takes to win?

Tickets to the LACMA Muse Halloween Costume Ball are priced as followed: $60 Muse members, $80 LACMA members, $100 general admission. Tickets include admission and two drink tickets per person. Guests are required to show photo ID when retrieving tickets and tickets are non-refundable. You can purchase your tickets here, or enter our giveaway below to win a pair of tickets!     My “favorite Hollywood ghost” is Mickey Cohen over at The Comedy Store. He’s said to haunt the location since he had control of Ciro’s, the original location of The Comedy Store. Supposedly did a lot of ugly business in the building for the mob. Mostly in the basement. I’ve been there and BOY is it creepy at night!
