“We ain’t got no place to go / So let’s go to the punk rock show / Darling take me by the hand / We’re gonna see a punk rawk band ..” If you were a young punk of the 90s, you probably listened to MxPx. Yes, it’s true, they were also classified as a Christian punk band, but it’s not like they’re singing about Jesus in every damn song. Inspired by Descendents, Black Flag and other Southern California skate punk bands, MxPx always put on a good show back in the day. So get ready for some skate punk nostalgia because MxPx headline the Glass House on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2013 with supporting acts Allister and Kristopher Roe.
Tickets to MxPx at the Glass House are priced at $20-$25 and the show is all-ages with doors at 7pm. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Nov 8 at 10am PST.
