The Bounce music extraordinaire, Big Freedia is back and better than ever! Emerging from New Orleans, Big Freedia became the catalyst for popularizing bounce music from the ’90s until now. Bounce music is popular amongst the Sissies (another name for drama queens) of New Orleans, where each week they bootyshake to the contagious beats. Big Freedia will be performing at the Echoplex on Thursday, November 14. So get your twerk team together and come down to the show! Joining Big Freedia will be Ratchet Set + Friends and Dirty Dave.
Tickets are $14 – $16, doors open at 8:30pm, and the event is 18 and over. You can win a pair of tickets with us by entering the contest below, courtesy of our friends at the Echoplex.
