If you have yet to hear the good word, L.A. funkmaster extraordinaire, Dam-Funk, has teamed up with the the one-and-only Snoop Dogg (aka Snoopzilla). Combining their fresh talents and love for all things funk, Dam-Funk and Snoopzilla are set to release their new collaborative project, 7 Days of Funk on December 10, 2013 on Stones Throw Records. Of the many monikers Snoop Dogg may drift under, for this new collabo Snoop performs under the name Snoopzilla. The name is a clever spin-off and homage to the legendary funk master, Bootsy Collins, who often went by the moniker Bootzilla. With Snoop’s smooth-as-buttah vocals, and Dam-Funk’s pristine electro funk ‘n’ soul beats that take you back to the hazy days of the 70s, you best believe 7 Days of Funk is going to be something epic. Let’s hope for some Los Angeles performances soon enough!
