If Courtney Love had a twin sister you would get Mish Way of the Vancouver punk band White Lung (and we mean that as a compliment!). The band formed in 2006 and have released two albums since, with It’s the Evil in 2010 and Sorry in 2012. Mish Way’s belting vocals soar over Anne-Marie Vassilious’s thrashing drums and Kenneth Williams’ shredding guitar licks. Who knows what else the band may be planning on releasing, but we do know they’ll be headlining a show at The Echo on Friday, November 15. Supporting the band will be Antwon, NASA Space Universe, and Whatever Soundsystem (DJ Set).
Tickets are $10 – $12, doors open at 7:30 PM, and the event is 18 and over. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Echo and Grimy Goods!
