Legendary keyboardist and founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Benmont Tench will headline two intimate nights at the Largo at the Coronet! A veteran session player who’s worked on albums with Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, and many more greats, Tench spent most of his musical career behind the scenes, but that’s all about to change with his upcoming solo album. 37 years in the making, Tench’s forthcoming album, You Should Be So Lucky will feature Tom Petty on bass, Ringo Starr on tambourine and bluegrass duo Gillian Welch and David Rawlings on vocals. You Should Be So Lucky is set for release on February 18 via the historic jazz label Blue Note Records. You can pre-order the record here.
Benmont Tench will headline Largo at the Coronet on Thursday, Feb. 20 and Friday, Feb. 21. Tickets are priced at $35 and will go on sale this Friday, Dec 20 at 11 a.m.
