The Entrance Band bring their wild swirls of psych to the Roxy this March

For those out there who haven’t heard of the Los Angeles band, The Entrance Band, you’ve been missing out on a gem. The band resembles the seductive sounds of 1960’s bands such as Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, and The Doors. Hardly any vocals are heard by vocalist Guy Blakeslee, but that isn’t necessary when your ears are seduced by Derek James’ epic guitar solos and the paced┬áPaz Lenchantin on drums as heard on the track “Summertime”. After catching the Entrance Band this past New Year’s Eve at the Satellite, the band will now headline the Roxy on Saturday, March 8. Face The Sun, the Entrance Band’s first full-length in four years was just released this past November, and it shreds. Trust, after watching them put on a spectacular show as we rang in 2014, you will not want to miss this gig.

Tickets to the Entrance Band are priced at $13 and the show’s all ages.┬áTickets will go on sale this Friday, Jan 24th at 10am.

You screwed up. Guy is the singer/ guitarist. Paz plays the bass, and Derek is the drummer.
