O.A.R. (Of a Revolution) is bringing their Americana roots rock to Los Angeles as part of their O.A.R. Extended Tour. The quintet will headline three intimate evenings at the Troubadour on Friday, May 2; Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4. O.A.R.’s previous studio album, King, was released back in 2011. If you’re thinking O.A.R. are well overdue for some new music, you’re right! According to Billboard, O.A.R. saxophonist Jerry DePizzo revealed that their eighth studio album would be released in May of 2014, and that the lead single would be “Peace” — a new song they played live many times on their 2013 summer tour.
Tickets to O.A.R. at the Troubadour are priced at $30 and the shows are all-ages. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Jan. 31 at 12 p.m.
