Thao Nguyen, the woman behind Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, starting playing music at a ripe age of 12. Her life consists of touring and making critically acclaimed album after another. It was in San Francisco where she formed the folk-alternative band, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down and it was smooth sailing from there. Thao headlines the El Rey on Saturday, February 15. Supporting them are Sonny & The Sunsets.

Tickets are $20 – $35, doors open at 8:00pm, and the event is all ages. You can win a pair of tickets with us by entering the contest below.
