Guitar explorer Nels Cline is best known these days as the lead guitarist in the band Wilco. Beyond Wilco, another project he leads are the Nels Cline Singers (featuring Scott Amendola and bassist Trevor Dunn). Yesterday, the trio announced their fifth new album, MACROSCOPE, which will be out on April 29 (with a vinyl release on May 27). To celebrate the new record, the Nels Cline Singers are going on a mini tour this May with with stops in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more. Tickets to the Nels Cline Singers at Largo at the Coronet are priced at $30 with doors at 7pm. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Feb. 14 at 8am.
