L.A.’s Lord Huron just keeps getting bigger and better. Their feel-good indie folk tunes have enamoured fans across the globe since the release of their 2012 debut album, Lonesome Dreams. From music festivals and headlining tours, Lord Huron have been packing shows left-and-right and this past Friday’s sold-out performance at the Fonda Theatre was no different.

To the audience’s pleasant, but confusing surprise, Lord Huron had an incredible mariachi band open up their show. It was different to say the least, but also totally awesome. Hitting the Fonda Theatre stage a bit later than expected, the dapper Lord Huron embraced the a crowd before them with a welcoming radiance that they were back in L.A. and very excited to perform a hometown show. The last time we caught Lord Huron live was at the Glass House for their local Coachella date last year.  As you can imagine, this was a very anticipated concert to see them live once again. Amongst the sea of smiling fans were also a lot of local musicians enjoying a magnetic performance by Lord Huron.
