You either love her or hate her. Lana Del Rey has announced a hefty set of North American tour dates leading up to, and after her Coachella performances. If you’re not catching the sexy pop star at Coachella, you can catch her on April 11th at the Cosmopolitan when she kicks off her tour. Ultraviolence is the follow-up to Lana Del Rey’s 2012 debut, Born To Die. Many critics found this album to be a total joke, although the general public loved it (no surprise there). And then watching Lana Del Rey perform live on SNL along with some other live dates, proved that she was a total joke live as well. And her Letterman performance that shortly followed was rather lackluster as well. And to top it all off, she then canceled her tour. Well, it’s been a couple years and we’re sure Lana Del Rey has been working hard on those vocals and stage presence to be able to perform a live show without looking like a hack. A lot of work has gone into her the past couple years, like a lot. Even Black Keys’ frontman Dan Auerbach, is collaborating on her new record which we find ironic since the Black Keys talked in a condescending tone about her in a 2012 interview with NME. But hey, Auerbach is now divorced and single. How would he ever pass up working with a gorgeous and voluptuous female artist.
Tickets to Lana Del Rey’s 2014 tour will go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 14th and Saturday, March 16th. Fan pre-sales will begin this Wednesday and Thursday. Stay tuned for the password.
