This dude may look a bit goofy with the chester-the-molester stache, but jacket pins are a must at SXSW, or any music festival for that matter. Not only do they rep who you are and what tunes you’re into, but they’re a great way to to meet people. If you can part ways with one of your pins, we highly recommend trading your pin for someone else’s; amazing things can and do result. Or better yet, just arrive with copies of your favorite pin, claiming that you’ve had it for years and that it’s been through blood and sweat from various shows.
