Win Tickets to La Dispute’s SOLD OUT show at the Echoplex

La Dispute

2014 marks the 10 year collaboration of the Michigan post-hardcore band, La Dispute. The band formed in 2004 with Jordan Dreyer (vocals) and Brad Vander Lugt (drums), both whom are cousins, along with Kevin Whittemore (guitar) and Derek Sterenberg (guitar; later replaced by his brother Chad). Part of what distinguishes La Dispute from the likes of other bands of their genre is Dreyer’s eloquent use of poetic stories found in every track such as “King Park”. The band is currently touring in support of their third album, Room of the House, released last week on Better Living. Catch the band at their headlining show at the Echoplex on Thursday, March 27. Supporting acts include Pianos Become The Teeth and Mansions.
