Win Tickets to Jello Biafra And The Guantanamo School Of Medicine at the Roxy

The always political heavy Dead Kennedys frontman, Jello Biafra, is back and politically loud as ever with his side project Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine. After celebrating Iggy Pop’s 60th birthday show, Biafra along with Ralph Spight and Jon Weiss became inspired to form a new band empowering the same political spirit as the Dead Kennedys. Already, the band has covered themes like Iraqian terrorism and Homeland Security in their debut album, The Audacity of Hype (2009), continuing with the Occupy Movement single “SHOCK-U-PY!” off their 2013 sophomore release, White People and the Damage Done.

Jello Biafra And The Guantanamo School of Medicine will be headlining a show at the Roxy on Sunday, April 6 alongside Grimy Goods favorites Le Butcherettes and our L.A. friends Death Hymn #9. This badass show has also been listed as our top 35 Best L.A. Concerts of April, so don’t miss out!
