Coachella Reviewed: The Preatures help open weekend two with groovin’ Aussie rock

Australian rock band The Preatures helped get things started Friday afternoon for Coachella weekend two, bringing some Aussie heat to go with the dry desert kind.

The Sydney band prominently featured singer Isabella Manfredi and guitarist/vocalist Gideon Bensen’s chemistry at the forefront of their performance, with the two often sharing singing duties while also sharing a microphone. Manfredi brought a wonderful presence to the stage, and though they only got a major pop for their hit “Is This How You Feel?” as Coachella attendees were still piling through the gates, those that caught them will surely throw them on their Spotify playlist by weekend’s end. By this time next year, The Preatures could be out of the bottom two lines on the Coachella poster, with good reason.
