The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have shared their new album, Days of Abandon as a full album stream an entire week before its May 13th Yebo release date. This is the Pains’ third studio album, and the follow-up to 2011’s Belong. Produced by Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Patrick Wolf, Cloud Boat), the album was recorded at new Greenpoint studio, House Under Magic which is owned by longtime Pains cohort Danny Taylor (ZaZa). The album is heavy on the pop cheer in the likes of Aztec Camera, The House of Love and The Lightning Seeds. It’s definitely a dreamy feel-good album and you can stream it for yourself below.

The Pains of Being Pure Heart are currently on tour and have an L.A. show date tonight at the Troubadour. If you’re not attending the show, you’ll just have to close your eyes and stream their new album below and pretend like you’re there. Days of Abandon is also now available to pre-order via iTunes.
