We last caught the Brooklyn garage punks at the Fonda earlier this year, where they delivered an energetic set alongside the one-man garage band, White Fence. Parquet Courts are known for their D.I.Y. aesthetic after releasing their debut album, American Specialties, on limited cassette in 2011. On their Website, they include a few quotes describing their sound as “90s slacker-rock revivalists” and their lyrics as “slacker stoner social commentary”. Sound appealing? Head on over to the Roxy on Wednesday, May 28 where they will be headlining a show in support of their latest album, Sunbathing Animal. Supporting acts include SCRAPER and CCR Headcleaner.
Tickets are $15 -17, show starts at 8pm and the show is all ages. You can buy your tickets or try winning a free pair with Grimy Goods below!
