After five years of absence, London synth-pop musician, La Roux returns with a new album titled Trouble In Paradise, set for release on July 22 via Cherrytree/Interscope Records. To celebrate the sophomore album, La Roux has shared her first single “Uptight Downtown”. The buoyant number is made for dancing. With a modern twist of disco, think ABBA meets Blondie. The new single is sure to be all the rage this summer at indie dance clubs worldwide. Just a couple week ago, La Roux revealed “Let Me Down Gently”, a new song from her forthcoming album. La Roux’s North American tour (as support for New Order) kicks off next week in Toronto, Ontario and will make stops New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. La Roux will perform at the Greek Theatre on July 13th. Grab tickets here!
