Time to get heavy! Chicago instrumental metal group Pelican are set to tear things up with their headlining show at the El Rey Theatre on Friday, June 13. After a four year hiatus, the band is on tour now in support of their new, eight song release, Forever Becoming. Brooklyn post-punk, metal trio Tombs are also set to kick ass and take names. The band’s highly anticipated third album Savage Gold is slated for release later this year. Supporting act is Isis’ guitarist Mike Gallagher’s ambient solo project Mustard Gas & Roses.
Tickets start at $16, doors open at 7pm, and the event is all ages. You can purchase tickets or win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below!
