Full of intense emotions, stunning vulnerability and pop tendencies that make you want to sing along — Copenhagen post-punk quartet, Lower have made their debut album available to stream. You can stream Lower’s new record, Seek Warmer Climes before its June 17 release date. The 10-track album is anthemic as it is complex. While the album fights to be dark and brooding, with a sense of urgency, there are rays of light that shine through with brilliant harmony.

The second song on the album, “Daft Persuasion” is a powerful track that explodes with gorgeous noise and a fierce chorus that cries with pain and frustration. It will have you howling along with a fist in the air. Alternately, there’s nothing anthemic about “Expanding Horizons (Dar Es Salam)”. Commencing with an eerie atmospheric sound and a suspenseful bass intro, the song seriously has a frightening effect. The guitar tremolo and chant-like vocals come off as though Lower is casting a wicked spell on you, but is sounds fuckin’ awesome.

With each song unique to the personal development of frontman Adrian Toubro, Warmer Climes is the type of album you’ll surely get addicted to. The album is set for release on June 17 via Matador. Stream the entire album here.
