If you were excited about seeing Death Grips again this year at FYF, or at the Hollywood Bowl with Nine Inch Nails, put that excitement away. Death Grips have officially broken up. Why did Death Grips break up, you ask? Well that’s simple, according to their suicide-like note left on their Facebook page, “we are now at our best and so Death Grips is over. we have officially stopped.”

There you have it folks. Well, at least you don’t have to worry about not getting all your hard earned money’s worth at one of their schedule shows where they don’t show up. After all, Death Grips were never known for their stability, but they were sure well known for their shock value and art/rap/noise rock.

But don’t worry, we’re sure Death Grips will return in some form or another after spending all their cash on lush hotels such as the Chateau Marmont and what not (as seen in their “Come Up and Get Me” video).
