Flying Lotus teams up with Kendrick Lamar for new track “Never Catch Me"

Flying Lotus has shared the first single from his upcoming new album, You’re Dead, due October 7 on Warp Records. The new single titled “Never Catch Me” features Flying Lotus’ signature psychedelic beats, along with the vocals of Kendrick Lamar. Fly Lo has always been a part of the underground / indie scene, but it looks like his new album will be putting him more in the mainstream world. The song has already hit the popular L.A. radio station, Power 106; and it’s probably with the help of a big rap name like Lamar. Needless to say, the song is tight and you can stream it below.

Flying Lotus will head out on full North American tour this fall which kicks off on Oct. 9 in Orlando and ends in Denver on Nov. 22. Flying Lotus will headline the Wiltern on Nov. 14 with support from Thundercat. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. Additionally, Flying Lotus will headline the Observatory in Santa Ana on Nov. 12. Tickets also go on sale this Friday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m.
