Up-and-coming Los Angeles duo, Girlpool have shared a new master of their song “Jane.” Aside from the annoying and very girly squeals, the song is actually pretty empowering. The song reads like a story and the moral of it is, don’t fuck with Jane; she’ll punch you in the mouth if you do her wrong. In other words, don’t ever allow yourself to feel imprisoned; stand up for yourself and speak up if you’re being done wrong. It’s a catchy twangy tone with a great message and you can listen to the newly mastered tune below.

Wichita Recordings will be releasing a remastered version of Girlpool’s debut self-titled EP physically and digitally on November 18th. Girlpool will also embark on a hefty tour including their first east coast tour, a London show with Alex G and a December residency at The Echo in Los Angeles.
