Prepare to shake, shake, shake. Local indie rock heroes, The Dead Ships have released their new single “Canyon”. In true Dead Ships fashion, “Canyon” has that serious addictive shake appeal. With fiery guitars and steady charging drums, “Canyon” will have you rattling your bones and singing along the the catchy chorus. The song definitely has some anthemic feels, and I don’t know about you, but it makes me want to grab a tambourine and slap it in the air then ferociously bring it back down for a hip slap! You can’t help but move and groove to this hot new jam. The song comes from The Dead Ships’ forthcoming EP (also titled “Canyon”) and was produced by Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning and mixed by the Grammy-nominated Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, Death Cab for Cutie, Bloc Party).

You can stream and download The Dead Ships’ new single “Canyon” below. The trio have a headlining show tonight at The Satellite! Featured on our Best L.A. Concerts of October feature, we highly recommend you catch their set. Tickets are priced at $10 and the show is 21 and over.
