The sultry Danish singer-songwriter MØ (aka Karen Marie Ørsted) returns to Los Angeles with a headlining performance at the Echoplex on Thursday, Oct 16. This highly anticipated performance was originally scheduled to be held at the brand new Regent Theatre (that latest music venture from the Mitchell Frank / Spaceland Presents family), but while the new Regent is still getting its fancy finishing touches, MØ’s show will take place at the Echoplex!
MØ recently performed a sold-out show at the Troubadour this past June and it was stunning. She continues to tour in support of her highly acclaimed debut album, No Mythologies to Follow which was released Feb. 21st via Sony Music UK. If you enjoy watching beautiful stylish women who have stunning siren-like vocals, you’ll definitely enjoy the soulful electro pop sounds of MØ. In the likes of other budding indie songbirds such as Banks and Kelela, MØ’s sultry soul jams are delivered with a tasty spoonful of street-style edge.
Supporting MØ at the Echoplex are De Lux and HOLYCHILD. This is going to be a rad evening of music with three different performances. All the bands / artist on this bill are top-notch. Don’t miss out.
