The mystifying Parisian recording artist, Sébastien Tellier has announced a headlining show date at The Roxy in West Hollywood. Tellier will take the stage at The Roxy on Saturday, December 6th. The last time we caught the enigmatic French singer live was at Coachella 2009, followed by Culture Collide in 2010. This intimate performance at The Roxy is not to be missed.
Touring in support of his latest full-length record, L’Aventura which was released on July 15 via Record Makers, Tellier is ready to deliver a performance just as sensual and cinematic as his new album. The album has a touch of Brazilian elements as it features Brazilian music legend Arthur Verocai and some of Rio de Janeiro’s musical luminaries.
Tellier’s small run of North American tour dates includes show dates in New York, Montreal, and San Francisco — in addition to his Los Angeles date at The Roxy. You can view the full list of tour dates below.
To celebrate Tellier’s tour announcement, today he also revealed a new video for the album track “Love”. The video is as though you walked into a vibrant watercolor painting as it features hand drawn and painted imagery by visual artist Valentine Reinhardt (including a naked Tellier riding on the back of bird with a purple lady in tow). Tickets to Sébastien Tellier at The Roxy are priced at $30 and the show is all-ages. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 17th at 10 a.m.
