Cherry Glazerr were just a few kids writing songs about grilled cheese and cats. That is, until they caught the attention of St. Laurent designer (and Kanye Rant topic) Hedi Slimane at Burgerama 2013. Which just goes to show that you never know who’s watching.

Since then their guitar-smashing anthem (and Slimane commissioned) “Had Ten Dollaz” (you can listen below) has gone viral. Tomorrow, that single gets an official limited release and is backed with the new track “Nurse Ratched.”

Inspired by the horrific administrative nurse from One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, frontwoman Clementine Creevy sings, “You’re so cold master/ where do I begin?” Which could be an extrapolation of Ratched’s character or very well aimed at a teacher, considering that the band is very nearly done with the great crucible of high school. Senioritis is real, and whether they wanted to or not Cherry Glazerr have bottled it up and pressed it to vinyl.

Cherry Glazerr have a Los Angeles show date on Nov. 20th with Sky Ferreira at the Belasco Theater in Downtown L.A. Tickets are available now.
