Foo Fighters announce “secret” Los Angeles show at The Roxy Nov. 14

The Foo Fighters have announced a “secret” Los Angeles performance at The Roxy this Friday, November 14th! Per usual, with any new album release, the Foo Fighters like to keep it real and play small venue shows to promote their new releases. In 2011, in support of their Wasting Light record, the Foo Fighters performed a round of secret shows at small L.A. clubs such as Spacelend (now the Satellite), The DragonFly and The Roxy. If you saw that old school white limo around a parking lot, you knew a secret Foo show as about to pop off!

To celebrate their upcoming LA episode of the Dave Grohl-directed HBO series, Sonic Highways, the Foo Fighters will perform at the Roxy this Friday, November 14. Tickets are not being sold for this show. The only way you can get in to the show is by winning tickets via KROQ or Amoeba.

The Foo Fighters new and eighth studio album, Sonic Highways was just released yesterday, November 11. The album shares its name with the Dave Grohl-directed eight-episode HBO series. It’s not a soundtrack album, but more so a love letter to the history of American music. You can watch the episodes of Sonic Highways on HBO through December 7. The series first premiered on HBO October 17.
